Body scrub with almonds and lemon
DIFFICULTY
INGREDIENTS:

For 250g: 

PHASE A

- 38.25g Olive Oil

- 35g Almond Oil

PHASE B

- 20g Self-emulsifying agent

- 5g Cetearyl Alcohol

- 72.25g Water

PHASE C

- 50g Orange Blossom Water (aromatic water)

PHASE D

- 25g Micronized Almond

- 3.75g Lemon Essential Oil

- 0.5g Vitamin E Antioxidant

- 1.5g Nobact Preservative

Lemon-scented cream scrub with micronized almond that gently removes dead cells and leaves the skin smooth, nourished, and fragrant!

Preparation

Heat Phase B in a double boiler or on an electric hot plate until all the ingredients have melted.

Slowly pour Phase A (oils) into Phase B while emulsifying with a hand blender (minipimer) for about 3 minutes until the mixture becomes homogeneous and white.

After the mixture is homogeneous, add Phase C while continuing to mix with the hand blender.

Without stopping the mixing, place the container in a cold water bath to speed up the cooling process.

Let your cream rest for 15 minutes to thicken.

Mix the product for 1 minute to make it smooth, and gradually add the ingredients from Phase D while homogenizing with a hand whisk or a spatula or a spoon after each addition.

Note: The pH of this preparation is 5-5.5.

Measure the pH using a pH meter or pH test strips. If the pH is not between 5 and 5.5, adjust it as follows:

If the pH is lower than 5, adjust it with a 30% caustic soda solution. Add it drop by drop.

If the pH is higher than 5.5, adjust it with lactic acid or citric acid. Again, add it drop by drop.

How to use

Apply to the entire wet body either in the shower or before taking a bath, massage well with circular motions, and then rinse off with a gentle shower or bath and water.

Caution: Contains lemon essential oil, which could be photosensitizing; rinse thoroughly.
