Coconut and ylang ylang body butter
DIFFICULTY
INGREDIENTS:

- 50g shea butter

- 50g virgin coconut oil

- 25g aloe gel

- 1 tablespoon corn starch (or rice starch)

- 1 drop of ylang ylang essential oil

If you want to have the characteristic coconut smell, you must use virgin coconut oil (which is easily available in organic supermarkets) otherwise coconut oil has no smell.

The essential oil of ylang ylang can be replaced with that of sweet orange, according to your tastes!

Preparation

Melt the oil and butter in a water bath and let it rest in the fridge for twenty minutes.

Whip the mixture until stiff adding the other ingredients slowly. Finally add a drop of ylang ylang essential oil!

How to use

Excellent moisturizer to be used also as an after-sun on the skin or as a hair mask before sun exposure.
