- 1g cocoa butter
- 1g castor oil
- 1g castor wax
- 3 drops acacia honey
- 2 drops tocopherol
- 2 drops propolis (mother tincture)
- 2 drops sweet orange essential oil
After a few experiments this is my ultimate lip stick! Cocoa butter is an excellent nourishing and emollient, castor oil, softening, adapts perfectly to the lips and gives a slight shine, beeswax is emollient and protects our lips, honey is an excellent " anti-cold ”and repairing, tocopherol or pure vitamin E is the best ally of the skin and has an anti-aging effect, propolis has healing properties, orange is invigorating.
Preparation
It's super easy!
In a glass jar - which has previously been sterilized, placing it for a couple of minutes in boiling water, and dried - melt the butter, oil, wax and honey in a water bath.
As soon as they are all melted (a couple of minutes maximum) the flame goes out but the jar is left in hot water and the other ingredients are added. Stir a little and pour into the previously cleaned and disinfected lip sticks with good taste alcohol. It is ready within a couple of hours at the most.
Obviously, those who want to can put more oil to have a more "shiny effect" or more butter to have it softer. For me this texture is perfect!
The orange aroma combined with the cocoa scent makes it delicious!
How to use
Like a normal lip stick, every time you brush your teeth, before leaving the house, before putting on your make-up, and every time you feel the need.
