PHASE A
- 12.5g vegetable glycerine
- 5g xanthan gum
PHASE B
- 151,72g water
- o,025g natural colour annatto
PHASE C
- 2,5g Essential oil sweet orange
- 75g Sulftem surfactant
- 2.5g Preservative Nobact
A different and fun shower gel, citrus scented!
Preparation
1. Transfer phase B (water + coloring) to a bowl and mix to mix the color.
2. Put the glycerin in another bowl and slowly add the xanthan gum, mix until you have a homogeneous mixture without lumps
3. Combine phase A to phase B, stirring vigorously with the help of a blender
4. Add the other ingredients (phase C) mixing with each addition
5. Transfer the mixture to the jar and place it to freeze
Note: the pH of the preparation is approximately 5-5.5
Measure the ph using a ph meter or litmus papers, if the ph is not between 5-5.5 adjust it with:
• 30% caustic soda solution if the pH is less than 5
• lactic or citric acid if the ph is greater than 5.5
ATTENTION! Work with a graduated pipette and add a drop or two at a time!
How to use
Refreshing jelly that will help you in the hottest summers and leave a pleasant orange smell on your body. Before using it, leave it to freeze for 3-4 hours in the frezeer, at the time of use you can either use it all as a bar of soap or cut a piece and consume it completely in the shower. after use, just put it back in its jar and leave it in the refrigerator or in any case away from heat sources.
