Betaine Salicylate

Betaine Salicylate is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) obtained from the combination of Salicylic Acid and Betaine: Salicylic Acid, naturally present in willow bark, is able to free pores from sebum and reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation while Betaine is a naturally hydrating and smoothing ingredient.

Betaine Salicylate therefore combines the exfoliating action of Salicylic Acid with the hydrating action of Betaine creating a delicate exfoliating acid, which can easily penetrate the skin helping to further hydrate the skin even from the inside.
