Carbomer is present in none of our formulas.

Carbomer (or Carbopol) is a substance of synthetic origin which is widely used in cosmetics as a thickening, viscosifying and emulsion stabilizing agent.

It is widely used as it is very stable, cheap and easy to use and gives a "pleasant" cosmetic sensation.

Unfortunately it is not a natural derivative, but it is a petroleum derivative. It does not derive directly from the "distillation" of petroleum, but in any case derives from high molecular weight polymers of acrylic acid, which in turn is produced by the oxidation of propylene.

Propylene is a compound not present in nature, therefore also synthetic and is produced by cracking from naphtha obtained from crude oil.

In short, we can say that it is a 100% petrochemical compound. It certainly shouldn't be present in an organic product.

It is usually replaced with gum, such as xanthan gum or similar!
