Oryzanol

Oryzanol, a white crystalline powder, is a mixture of esters of ferulic acid with triterpene alcohols. It has strong antioxidant properties, counteracts the damage caused by free radicals on membrane phospholipids, protecting the skin from oxidative stress and photoaging. It is used in cosmetic oleolites or lipogels thanks to its solubility in oil or it can be used to functionalize the fat phase of emulsions. It is used in dermocosmetic products intended for the treatment and protection of all skin types.
